BULLYING

Student thinking

When kids know what bullying is, they can recognize it when it happens. If they or someone else gets bullied, it's important to talk about it and get help. Kids should also learn how to stand up to bullies safely.

If you or someone you know is being bullied or sees someone else being bullied, tell a grown-up you trust about it. They can help you feel better and give you advice on what to do next. It's also important to report bullying.

To stay safe, it's a good idea to stay near grown-ups or other groups of kids.

You can help someone who is being bullied by being kind and asking for help from a grown-up.

It's okay to stand up to bullies and tell them to stop. You can try using humour or saying "stop" confidently. If that doesn't work, it's okay to walk away and get help.
